Description:

Course Objectives:

Train community health workers (activists, community curative care health workers [APEs] and peer educators) to promote PP in the community, from information on the seven components of PP, interpersonal communication skills and skills in the use of supporting materials

Specific Objectives:

  1. Provide basic information about the seven components of PP;
  2. Increase the community health workers interpersonal communication skills and skills in the use of supporting materials to promote PP;
  3. Prepare community health workers to contribute their services to PLHIV, referring them to health services and support within the community.
